By registering for, accessing, or using GridSparrow, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

GridSparrow provides a tool to crowdsource geographical location data. Users can create "Projects" bound to specific geographic regions (Regions of Interest) and invite volunteers to submit map pins. GridSparrow facilitates the collection, storage, and export of this data.

3. User Responsibilities

• Accuracy and Legality: You agree that any data, project, or location pin you submit does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Abusive Usage: You must not use the Platform for harassment, spreading misinformation, or launching denial-of-service/spam attacks against the map endpoints.

4. Intellectual Property & Crowdsourced Data

Project Owners retain control over the datasets generated within their projects. When a Volunteer submits a pin, the Volunteer grants the Project Owner a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, display, and export that location data for the purposes of the project.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

GridSparrow is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or perfectly error-free operation. Maps and coordinates may occasionally contain inaccuracies.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GridSparrow, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform, or from the use of the data collected through the Platform.

7. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of GridSparrow after any such changes constitutes your consent to such changes.
